IEEE Region 10 Student Branch Website Contest 2012

The Region-10 Website Contest is yet another opportunity for student branches in Asia Pacific to interact and learn from one another.

Motivation behind this Website Competition

• Electronic communications among IEEE members has been one of the IEEE main concerns during the recent times.
• It is very important for the IEEE student branches to communicate with their student members and other branches in an electronic way.
• Having a Student Branch Website is a good tool to achieve this goal.

General guidelines and Eligibility

All IEEE student branches and branch chapters are eligible for the Web site contest. Each student branch may enter at most one Web site, regardless of the number of branch chapters present.

Strive to make your pages first, then make them unique.

For student branches wanting or needing web hosting space, please visit the IEEE Entity Web Hosting. Be sure to follow the IEEE Master Brand guidelines, because they are part of the judging criteria for the contest.

Judging criteria

The complete Rules and Guidelines, that include the criteria judges will use to evaluate the web sites, are available for all Student Branches. Winners of the IEEE Region 10 Student Branch Website contest will flow up to the International contest level.

• 1st Prize:  US$500 + Certificate + Qualify for Inter-regional Website contest
• 2nd Prize: US$350 + Certificate
• 3rd Prize:  US$200 + Certificate
• Best New Comer Award: Certificate
• Merit Award (for top 10 Teams): e-certificate
